Companion Linc is a 245D Waivered Services Provider that supports approximately 130 individuals throughout the Metro Area with a variety of intellectual and/or physical needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.

• Competitive Pay & Great Benefits - Direct Support Professionals start at $18.00/hour with a raise at 12 months, based upon satisfactory performance. Employees are paid to complete and maintain all required training for their position. We are currently looking for a flexible and dedicated person to provide support and guidance to an individual with disabilities located in Golden Valley.

Position, Hours and Wage:

• Part-Time (15 or 16 hrs/wk) or Full-Time (31 hrs/wk) available
  
• Monday and Tuesday 2:00PM-10:00PM
• Monday through Friday 7:00AM-10:00AM
• $18.00/hour

Job Duties:

• Encouraging personal safety, modeling appropriate behaviors, supporting a person in completing daily routines and teaching life skills;
• Assisting individual to achieve and exceed their personal goals;
• Providing structure and emotional support;
• Assisting in the facilitation of resolving behavioral issues;
• Assisting individual with personal hygiene;
• Managing and dispensing medication;
• Completing detailed, accurate documentation as assigned;
• Other duties specific to individual served.

Requirements:

• Related experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• MN DHS background clearance
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance (*no exceptions)
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, verbally and written
