JOB SUMMARY:*
The Director of Account Management is responsible for the supervision of Account Management staff and ongoing expansion and success of existing business. This involves directing and continuously improving the Account Management team, ensuring the achievement of financially sustainable membership growth, retention and revenue goals while providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
An expert in Account Management with strategic leadership and oversight of the Northeast market segment, including the development and execution of retention, marketing, and growth strategies. Coach and develop the Account Management team, ensuring in-group growth and retention, and monitoring of key business performance metrics to drive business results.

WORK LOCATION
Position is open to hybrid. Must be near Uniondale, NY or Shrewsbury, NJ. and available travel to both offices, required. Our employees are distributed in office locations in multiple markets across the United States. We are unable to hire or allow employees to work outside of the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Demonstrated track record of successful recruitment, selection, and development of sales/account management staff.
  • Demonstrated success working in a complex, fast-moving, and cross-functional environment where accountabilities and objectives may be shared.
  • Demonstrated understanding of competitor's strengths, weaknesses, and strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling difficult client issues related to plan services, policies, and procedures.
  • BA/BS preferably in Business Administration or Marketing, or equivalent successful work experience
  • 10+ years' experience in Account Management. Preferably in dental insurance and preferably in the Northeast
  • NY Accident and Health Insurance license required within 90 days of hire date.

COMPENSATION:*
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $99,306 - $167,829, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
