Director, Business Operations - Office of the CEO (Remote)

Role Overview:

To continue to propel McAfee forward as a growth juggernaut we are hiring a Director – Business Operations for the Office of the CEO. This role will report to the VP, Operations & Chief of Staff. The ideal candidate will own the McAfee Operating System (Internal Operational Excellence Program Platform) and will design, define, operate, and optimize the system. This individual will drive the CEO owned operating mechanisms, partner with CEO Staff members on their Operating Mechanisms to ensure an effective system. The Director of Business Operations will help accelerate the organization’s highest priorities by driving alignment, accountability, and operational rigor across the organization.

This is a remote position in United States with travel to major hubs in San Jose and Dallas. We will only consider candidates currently in United States and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role:

• Define, run, and optimize the McAfee Operating System including management of the Operating Mechanisms, the metrics, and knowledge management.
• Drive core Operating Mechanisms for the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
• Evaluate areas of friction or business process inefficiencies in the business and recommend solutions.
• Build strong relationships and lead through influence with leaders of teams across the organization to foster collaboration, improve decision making, and increase speed and agility.
• Drive special projects ranging from strategic discussions at the staff level to other opportunities. Work across organizations to accomplish goals.
• Build a high performing Business Operations capability that drives the rhythm of the business.

About you:

• 12+ years in business operations, program management, or related operations role, ideally at a high-growth technology company driving large-scale strategic initiatives.
• Proven experience ensuring revenue and efficiency goals are achieved through the balancing of both the short- and long-term strategy.
• Strong communicator who can translate analysis into business insights and objectives, and communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly.
• Demonstrated experience synthesizing data to craft the narrative.
• Excellent leadership skills: comfortable working in ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and ability to both influence and develop strong partnerships at all levels.
• Solutions-oriented, with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions.
