What will you do?
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses
- Collaborate and coordinate with multiple departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors
- Conduct a continuous audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders
- Manage end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts and technical architects to devise client solutions
- Participate when needed as a technical expert in pre-sales qualification
- Work closely with Delivery teams and customers on a hands-on basis to drive better Engineering Quality and solution delivery
- Groom Engineering talent in the practice and drive superior engineering practices and standards in the organization
- As required work as individual contributor and SME in an engagement to drive Customer Impact and confidence
- Work on multiple engagements and help build customer confidence and delivery superior experience
What We Need:
- Proven history of Technical and Delivery exposure, Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Key Skill sets:
- 15+ years leading large data engineering platforms, leveraging appropriate design patterns, techniques based on business requirements
- 5-8+ years managing development teams, mentoring and providing appropriate leadership coverage
- Deep Expertise in core data engineering processes including ETL tools, Data Cataloging Governance using custom and off-the-shelf products, DevOps and QA methodologies
- Ability to drive discovery/immersion/strategy workshops with senior client stakeholders to understand the current state and drive future state - technology options, design considerations etc.
- Exposure to core data engineering processes including ETL tools, Data Cataloging Governance using custom and off-the-shelf products, DevOps and QA methodologies
- Providing thought leadership to the clients, being their partner by monitoring industry trends, best practices, methodologies that will drive value to the overall data ecosystem
- Experience with distributed applications, data Warehousing, Lakes, Lake House and other areas of Data Engineering including various types of Data Stores and programming languages (Python, Java or Scala)
- Proven track record working across large cross-functional teams / in a matrixed environment
- Certifications in one of the Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a must have
