Director Global Brand- Claritin


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The primary responsibilities of this role, Director Global Brand- Claritin, are to:


  • Lead the development of the 2-5 year strategy planning for Global Power Brand Claritin;
  • Define brand strategy (equity, consumer targets, architecture, communication strategy (incl. creative platform idea) and innovation strategy);
  • Support & coach markets in the development of integrated communication idea development;
  • Develop clear guidance for brand activation strategies for key markets;
  • Develop Health Care Professionals (HCP) strategy;
  • Set the direction for the Claritin innovation strategy and lead multi-functional team to deliver on innovation needs;
  • Develop relevant Brand global content (incl. digital, shopper);
  • Own Claritin Global Power Brand in the Global Category Team providing input into the development of the 2-5 year global Allergy category strategies;
  • Drive consistency of brand identity and standards through development of brand guidelines incl. design and packaging for Claritin Global Power Brand;
  • Own Brand Experience Toolkit development incl. all brand book content;
  • Develop and share brand best practices and learning, ensuring consistency and efficiency via Brand Success Model and Strategic Activation Briefs. Ensure evolution of brand activation strategies in key markets;
  • Ensure Customer Excellence, Net Revenue Management, Insights, Marketing Excellence & Digital capability build up and tool implementation;
  • Lead and implement global statement of work creation for strategic projects;
  • Build a strong global brand community based on trust, curiosity and desire to evolve and win in the market place;
  • Define Claritin portfolio strategy and innovation roadmap while collaborating with stakeholders and markets, with the aim to "be first or be best" in the market.


WHO YOU ARE


Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our life values, more specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:


Required qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing or related discipline;
  • Country marketing operations with Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility, ideally General Manager (GM) experience;
  • Innovation strategy experience including New Product Development (NPD) commercial leadership and management;
  • International, preferably global role category experience is desirable;
  • High leadership qualities, ideally in cross functional teams, strong interpersonal & influencing skills and empowerment capacity (getting things done without hierarchical authority);
  • Must be a strong communicator with the ability to lead by influence and capable of making oral and written high level and inspiring presentations on a senior management level;
  • Must have strong strategic thinking skills and be comfortable with ambiguity to connect dots to communicate a simple compelling vision that leads to actionable strategies;
  • Must have strong collaboration skills working across functions, cultures and levels;
  • Digital Savvy experience in digital marketing fundamentals and approaches to creative, media and research;
  • Must be a team player with a global mind set and solid oral and written communication skills;
  • People leadership (line management), ideally in cross cultural environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • MBA preferred;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Over the Counter (OTC) and/or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) with solid track record of achieving above market results with proven commercial ability to develop & activate brand strategy fundamentals.
