Job Purpose:

The Director of Navigator GPO Operations oversees reporting, modeling, forecasting and systems functions essential to the overall effectiveness and profitability of the Navigator business. This includes working directly with the Navigator Executive Team to model and ensure new initiatives and opportunities are setup to meet business expectations. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the oversight of the Navigator Data and Membership team ensuring member affiliations and roster alignment are current and processes are in place to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. This person will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate alignment of objectives and priorities are enabled and supported within the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and ongoing operation of a robust suite of KPIs/metrics to continually analyze the health of Navigator programs and sales team impact, uncover actionable insight/intelligence, and provide advance warning of necessary course corrections.
  • Lead food program optimization process working with Foodbuy to ensure accurate, timely actionable insights can be shared with our Membership via the Navigator Portal
  • Drives the development and operation of predictive analytics tools, processes, and leading indicators to continually assess company performance
  • Develops and drives Market Basket and pricing dashboards to offer critical analytics and insight generation for program improvements across Navigator product categories
  • Manages the Navigator Portfolio Analyst
  • Oversee pricing analytics for food, BPS and MPs
  • Validate qualification of new Food prospects to ensure appropriate program alignment
  • Designs integration of Salesforce.com data with customer sales data from internal systems to enable account management analytics and optimization.
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization.
  • Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
  • Implements enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the Data and Reconciliation team with regards to all issues regarding contract terms, fee percentages, missing data and discrepancies.

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance or equivalent degree/experience
  • MBA a plus
  • Analytical, metrics driven, experience creating and monitoring sales KPIs/dashboards
  • Requires an excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales & Marketing Operations processes and systems (lead generation, campaign results tracking, sales process, CRM applications, reporting, forecasting, territory management and sales quotas)
  • Understanding of Salesforce.com reporting, dashboards, and process enablement
  • Advance computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to create scalable business processes and systems
  • Self-starter, independent, complex problem solver with strong bias for action
  • Skilled communicator, able to distill complex issues to straightforward concepts
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork, and partnership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
  • Occasional travel to customers and conferences
