Job Summary
As a key person in carrying out our mission, the Director of Business Development is responsible for supporting the Company’s growth and success through mergers and practice acquisitions. This role will assist in performing related financial and market analysis, lead pipeline growth, and assist in transaction due diligence. He or she will work closely with the Business Development Team to achieve the company's strategic and operational objectives. Bond Orthodontic Partners is a dynamic and fast-growing organization, and this position will be crucial to the company's success.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Work closely with the business development team to identify, source, monitor, and manage potential add-on opportunities.
- Quickly build trust and credibility with orthodontists, brokers, and vendors
- Create and convert potential leads to actionable partnership opportunities
- Collaborate within the development team to constantly improve deal processes
- Work with 3rd party vendors to close transactions.
- Provide detailed due diligence on potential strategic growth opportunities
- Contribute to internal lead and pipeline development
- Management and support of strategic initiative development, execution, and ongoing M&A activity.
- Review and monitor metrics
Position Requirements:
- Transactional (M&A) experience required
- Understanding of financial modeling and financial statements
- Experience in corporate development, transaction advisory, or consulting/banking/ PE role, preferred
- Ability to travel up to (40%) of the time
