Description:Klarus Home Health is looking for a Director of Business Development. The business development function includes identifying growth opportunities; maintaining, developing and advancing strategic relationships; developing partnership models; and directing implementation of proactive and responsive growth tactics.

Core Responsibilities:
Collaborates with VP of Sales on sales training, integrity in company branding and special sales-related projects.
Participate in field-ride alongs to coach Account Executives and help them to secure business.
Work with and assist Account Executives to obtain physician and community protocols in identified account targets.
Provide clinical outcomes to sales team while providing coaching on messaging.
Develop and implement education for sales team
Branch site visits to educate clinical team at Case Conference about the sales team’s tactics to promote clinical programs.
Develop, coach and train sales teams to ensure growth goals are achieved or exceeded.
Develop a strong knowledgebase of company EH-R, Sales Reports and other key analytics that impact sales.
Analyze and interpret data, market conditions, business volume/mix and competition and Account Executive performance history as well as their potential for growth.
Partner with Vice President of Sales to develop and execute specific strategic objectives focus on growth.
Working closely with Account Executives to develop effective plans for growing identified accounts within SNF, Hospital, Senior Living, Physicians and other referral sources that can impact growth.
Prepare quarterly updates summarizing key strategies/goals designed capture market-share.
Foster collaboration between Account Executives and operational/clinical partners to ensure agency cohesiveness and alignment on growth objectives.
Facilitate coaching & training to educate Account Executives on various topics as determined with the VPs of Sales.
Educate Account Executives on Medicare guidelines.
Monitor sales team activity to ensure appropriate focus on effective value-based messaging throughout their key accounts.
Communicate weekly or as needed with Vice President of Sales to review market strategy and discuss ideas, solutions and needs of the team.
Educate team and promote adherence on CMS, Federal and State rules and rules/regulations that govern the generation of home health referrals and other sales related activities in accordance with Stark Laws, Anti-Kickback laws and company policies.
Coach Account Executives to work through perceived challenges and barriers. Work professionally to assist Account Executives to solve problems.
Read and adhere to all company and agency policy and procedures.
Participate in in-service education and other personnel training as required.
Executes other duties as assigned by VP of Sales.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years healthcare sales experience
Current or recent experience managing people, processes and accounts in a multi-site setting.
Current or recent Home Health sales experience strongly preferred
Success in achieving/exceeding admit and revenue growth targets in a home health setting.
Outstanding leadership, managerial and training skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to travel within assigned territory as required
