ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary:
The Director of Data and Analytics will be responsible for analyzing large data from sales and consumer analysis to understand sales trends + development opportunities. The ideal candidate will be able to lead cross functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Vice President of Merchandising.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and fosters a cohesive team environment with all cross-functional partners.
  • Exhibit the ability to manage large scale projects or efforts to implementation.
  • Ability to think creatively and devise interesting and attractive promotions.
  • Comfortable working within a team but will take ownership of items when necessary.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit who wants to work on growing something rather than maintaining it.
  • High sense of ownership for the promotional plans and their success.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, and/or PhD in Data Science/Analytics related field.
  • Strong background in retail and membership programs.
  • Ability to understand and interpret trends, react with strategic/tactical changes. Minimum of 10 years working with customer analytics, statistics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships within and outside of the company.
