The Director of Finance, reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, will serve as an integral member of the team and will be responsible for the planning and directing of the accounting, financial reporting and business/data analytics functions at Envera Health. The Director of Finance provides leadership through financial analysis to include cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting practices and procedures, financial statement preparation, business and data analysis, and treasury functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages treasury functions, risk management, payroll and compensation, tax (accounting, returns and payments), and procurement of business insurance

  • Directs the accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll) and financial reporting functions

  • Maintains effective relationships with senior executives to identify needs and recommend business solutions

  • Develops operational analyses and proactively informs the management team with relevant information about trends, opportunities, and challenges

  • Manages departmental processes and infrastructure necessary to improve operational efficiency and achieve business objectives

  • Evaluates innovative approaches to optimize and scale department resources

  • Develops models to predict outcomes of various financial strategies (e.g., pricing models and other financial projections)

  • Delivers deep business insights via analytics enabling various teams to make solid operational decisions

  • Strengthens policies and procedures to create an effective internal control framework

  • Provides leadership and direction to staff in ways that motivate employees to maximize their contributions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance; MBA preferred

  • 5+ years related work experience required in Financial Planning & Analysis, Healthcare Management, and/or Strategic Planning required with progressively increasing responsibility and scope

  • Familiarity with operating in an early-stage growth company poised to accelerate operations and BPO experience preferred

  • Strong technical GAAP knowledge

  • Operations experience in the healthcare sector; particularly in an engagement center environment

  • Knowledge of Sage Intacct preferred

  • Excellent mathematical, problem-solving, and analytical skills required

  • Advanced software applications skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite
