About the Role
We’re looking for a full-time, hands-on HR Director to continue to attract, empower, and retain an amazing and entrepreneurial team in a multi-site, hybrid environment. Your work will be central to improving and scaling our ability to make a genuine difference for our clients and workforce. As the HR Director you will lead all aspects of HR and create trusted relationships across all levels of our organization.
About the Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership to cultivate a trusted, collaborative, and effective HR department.
- Plan and execute HR programs, processes and practices that align the people function with the organizational strategies and contribute to retaining a motivated workforce. Functional disciplines include diversified talent recruiting and selection, performance management, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and talent development.
- Provide hands-on and effective management for all employee relations matters.
- Ensure the efficient execution of on-boarding and orientation of all organizational employees to actively engage new employees and ensure a lasting understanding and alignment to the culture, ethics, and expectations of the agency and their clients, recommending enhancements as appropriate,
- Lead an effective and efficient performance management and compensation process that optimizes the resources of the organization and delivers valued, competitive, and cost-effective recognition and reward programs.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and recommend improvements and changes to HR programs and supporting systems to ensure an integrated approach to all HR policies, programs and procedures.
- Collaborate on the development and administration of internal training (leadership, culture, values) and professional development programs. This includes any federally mandates training such as workplace harassment training.
- Revise and develop new policies and procedures as needed, keeping the HR handbook current.
- Oversee all aspects of insurance/benefits brokers, providing information on enrollment and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Your Education and Experience:
- A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least two years independently leading a hands-on HR team in a mid-sized, entrepreneurial or creative environment; multi-state/multi-site experience is preferred.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred
