Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee project management function throughout organization.
- Creating plans for project implementation and monitoring progress to ensure that deadlines are met
- Overseeing the development of project documentation including scope statements, schedules, and budgets
- Assigning resources to projects based on skill sets and availability, and making adjustments as needed
- Managing customer relationships and building rapport with customer to ensure ongoing cooperation throughout the duration of a project
- Coordinating team meetings to ensure that all members are engaged in the project and understand their responsibilities
- Monitoring the budget throughout a project to identify areas where cost overruns may occur
- Reviewing project plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Participate in Information Technology Steering Committee.
- Monitor activity for risk, service quality and fraud. Protect member information.
- Provide support and guidance to all departments as needed to ensure efficient operations. Including new product implementation, system updates, report generation, problem resolution, process improvements and document management.
- Identify areas for improvement, changes in procedures, new developments, or changes in services or products. Prepare and disseminate information pertaining to credit union trends, security issues, operations, regulations, and services to department staff on a regular basis.
- Coach staff to treat members and employees with respect, deliver what we promise and thank the member/employee for their business/request.
- Respond to IT questions or problems from credit union staff and make appropriate referrals, recommendations, suggestions, etc.
- Respond to complex or problematic questions or problems as appropriate and ensure the highest quality of member service satisfaction.
- Review and evaluate project feasibility studies based on management’s requirements, priorities, and cost constraints. Lead project teams as they relate to information technology.
- Develop and recommend strategies to ensure strategic objectives are obtained and optimum efficiency is achieved. Ensures proper delegation of duties to achieve goals.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and react to changes in a way that maintains competitiveness. Implement programs and projects beneficial to the credit union and its members based on budget, policy, research, trends, member satisfaction surveys, etc.
- Maintain knowledge, proficiency, and expertise in respect to the operations within the XP2 core processing system.
- Identify the strategic objectives and determine specific requirements for information technology within all departments of the credit union.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contracts. Maintain the relationship and work with vendors on product enhancements and technology trends. Negotiate contracts. Keep current with vendor updates.
- Identify areas for improvement, changes in procedures, new developments, or changes in information technology. Review the end user experience and address areas of improvement to enhance the experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:Experience:
- Prefer a minimum of seven years of project management experience with emphasis in a credit union or other financial institution. Knowledge of information technologies, cyber security, procedures, principles, credit union operations, and credit union philosophy.
Education:
- A college degree in a business or IT related field and a minimum of five years project management experience in a credit union’s/financial institution’s operations department.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of information technology, cyber security, procedures and principles, credit union operations, and credit union philosophy.

- Salary Range: $122,479.50 - $153,099.38

- Onsite but Hybrid as work allows

- Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
