POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the Director of Marketing, you will lead a team of creative and strategic marketing and communication professionals who serve internal and external stakeholders across company divisions. The Director of Marketing must also be proficient in a wide variety of skills including graphic design, copywriting, web design, digital advertising, branding, and more. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job and the inherent ability to inspire a strong work ethic/creativity in those around them.

General Overview of Responsibilities/Duties:

· Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.

· Lead a team and oversee marketing operations across all company divisions and office locations.

· Build a deep understanding of the business and be able to effectively communicate results and present recommendations to key stakeholders throughout the organization.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders on strategic goal setting, divisional business planning, and prioritization of opportunities to advance efforts across the state of Texas.

· Build and communicate the company’s unique messaging internally and externally through a variety of marketing and communication efforts.

· Oversee multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, managing them to completion and ensure high standards are met.

· Work closely with executive and divisional teams to create and manage marketing budgets.

· Responsible for effective recruiting with respect to new marketing team members.

· Manage third-party agency support where required.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

· Minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading a marketing team.

· Proven success managing complex, corporate teams.

· A general understanding and interest in Commercial Real Estate, Development, and Brokerage.

· Strong leadership and execution capabilities, including leading large initiatives and cross-functional teams.

· Creative thinking, ability to foster the generation of innovative marketing ideas and work collaboratively.

· Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal direction in a fast-paced working environment to the satisfaction of internal and external clients.

· Strong verbal, written, editorial, and graphic design skills.

· Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), HubSpot, and Trello.

· Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages.

· Candidate must display a knowledge of web site proficiency regarding HTML & CSS and have basic knowledge in search engine optimization (SEO) and social media management.

· Must possess a high degree of professionalism.

· Display a level of proficiency with a DSLR camera (preferred).
