Your Job

As a Director of Growth & Planning you will be leading a team responsible for facilitating and driving business strategy to support Product Leaders within the Enterprise Business Unit.

Our goal is to enable our product teams to drive innovation, efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for supporting Enterprise business leader decision making for ongoing growth of the business. Your team will facilitate & collect insights, analysis and research for product strategy prioritization & planning. Additionally, your team will provide oversight and alignment of rhythm of the business activities - coalescing forums and inputs that enable rapid, informed and progressive decision making at the senior levels of the leadership team.

Indeed Directors of Growth & Planning effectively facilitate and drive business strategy for a 0 - 18 month horizon. They deliver business results by collaborating with organizational leaders to evaluate strategies while coaching and leading teams to navigate complex decisions and political landscapes. They are facilitators and motivators, working across departments and offices to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of business outcomes

Responsibilities:
  • Set the operational cadence of the business
  • Provide, facilitate & collect insights, analysis and research for decision making on prioritization & planning
  • Provide & track progress and accountability of initiatives and goals
  • Provide visibility on OKR target tracking (incl forecast)
  • Drive consistency on the metrics/ cadence at level below
  • Oversee and be accountable for a portfolio of work that furthers strategic company objectives.
  • Drive strategic alignment across business stakeholders to provide comprehensive analysis of emergent and improvement opportunities
  • Partner and interact with senior leadership across Indeed to achieve objectives and own business outcomes.
  • Provide analysis and thought leadership on issues critical to the success of the business's strategic goals.
  • Coach, mentor and lead and a team of product strategists and business analysts

Who You Are

  • 10+ Years of experience managing and leading technology business analysts and strategists
  • 5-7 years of experience hiring, coaching and employee development
  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; able to thrive within ambiguity
  • Familiar with organizational maturity and related transformation
  • Proven experience with prioritization frameworks and matching skills to the right work
  • Comfortable talking about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people
  • Proven ability to manage key customer relationships (Sr. Directors, VPs and above) and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior management and setting expectations for major cross-functional initiatives
  • Have established and effectively scaled a program management organization within a large tech company

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 176,000 - 256,000 USD per year

Austin 176,000 - 256,000 USD per year

NYC Metro Area 204,000 - 296,000 USD per year

SF Bay Area 222,000 - 322,000 USD per year

Seattle 196,000 - 284,000 USD per year
