Reporting to: Vice President of Quality

Location: Sunnyvale, California

Employment Type: Permanent – Full time

> THE OPPORTUNITY
· In this role as the Director of Quality and Reliability, we are looking for an energetic, bright self-motivated candidate who has a passion for quality who can help lead our company in the next stage of its development. The person should be a critical thinker and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

> KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide leadership of the North America quality organization to help drive a proactive approach with improvements within design, manufacturing, suppliers and customers.

· Work across the business to help develop and establish a team development plan.

· Develop business cases to justify resources required within the business for a best in class quality organization.

· Present and be the main interface on key account quality issues within North America and in still confidence.

· Expand and improve on existing processes utilizing technology and create robust processes.

· Collaboration with other departments and utilization of quality tools to help drive RCCA.

· Lead the team and be site representative for ISO9001 and ISO14001.

· Collaborating across the different Business Units to develop and implement improvement plans for improved performance.

· Develop risk-based approach as part of decision-making process.

· Drive and promote a culture of quality within the organization.

· Develop and implement a reliability program throughout the product lifecycle.

· Lead initiatives within the business to improve on process efficiencies.

> Key Qualifications and Skills
· The candidate will ideally come from the electronics industry with in-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing and reliability concepts. We are looking for the following attributes:

· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· High level of knowledge on quality principles, 8D, fishbone, FMEA’s CpK, Gauge R & R,.

· 20% travel required.

· Able to work independently and successfully in a team environment.

· Experience with top tier Semi-Fab companies either working within or understanding the industry requirements.

· High level of knowledge and experience with reliability concepts including Weibull distribution, reliability demonstration, bathtub curves.

· BSEE or equivalent discipline is preferred.

· Experience with top tier Semi-Fab companies either working within or understanding the industry requirements.

· Proactive and aggressive attitude to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $230,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
