Job Description

Our client, a leading biotechnology company, is currently recruiting a Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Control who will infuse the Quality Team with talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Manage the quality control laboratory and provide oversight of quality processes and facilities

2) Participate in regulatory filings and compliance

3) Lead quality control and quality assurance testing of the manufactured products

4) Participate in developing and validating testing methods for the final product

5) Demonstrate excellence in the areas of interpersonal relationships, critical thinking, and

technical skills

6) Be able to identify, internalize and communicate the critical factors necessary strategically

for successful unit function

7) Express ideas clearly and effectively to gain agreement and understanding

8) Demonstrate personal effectiveness in leading the team toward its goals

9) Manage organizational responsibilities in a way that supports the achievement of the team’s goals

10) Work effectively with others in the management team and their staff to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems

11) Exhibit appropriate values and maintain social, ethical and organizational standards

12) Use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to develop a team-wide spirit and intra-team cooperation

13) Evaluate quality control and quality assurance statistics

14) Write and modify SOPs and manuals, as needed

15) Enforce safety procedures

16) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the biotechnology industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in quality assurance and quality control
