Position Details
Experience with grant writing
- Applicable computer programs and equipment.
- Fiscal management practices.
- Supervisory principles.
- Budget planning and monitoring.
- Training program principles, practices, and techniques.
- Monitoring and evaluating staff.
- Prioritizing work and performing multiple tasks.
- Using computers and software application programs.
- Facilitating effective group interactions.
- Knowledge of maintaining a database to keep student records
- Planning and providing student events.
- Ability to negotiate and solve problems
- Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

- Supervise staff to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
- Develop, implement and evaluate programs designed to retain, transfer and/or graduate students.
- Interface with staff, faculty and community agencies in the provision of student services.
- Advises and counsels students for appropriate placement in pathway and courses.
- Develop, schedule and offer student success workshops, cultural events and recognition events.
- Manage budgets, expense, and revenue reports.
- Completes all reporting necessary to meet the Department of Education requirements.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
- No or very limited physical effort required.
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
