Job Summary:

The Director Operations Primary Care, Medical Subspecialty and Telehealth directs and manages the operations, patient experience, teammate engagement, profitability, and clinical outcomes of the RSFPP primary care and medical subspecialty practices to include but not limited to primary care, endocrinology, psychiatry, cardiology, EP, CT surgery and oncology. This position also directs and manages the overall system telehealth strategy development across all service lines and facilities. The Director works in a matrix management relationship with Integrated Practice Networks physician leaders and administrative leaders to assist in the development and implementation of the organizations' strategic plan and marketing strategy. The Director facilitates the planning, organization, implementation and control of the resources needed for optimal performance of the RSFPP practice operations in coordination with various physicians, IPN leaders, clinicians and other support teammates. The Director works closely with members of the RSFPP leadership team to set RSFPP goals and objectives in alignment with the overall system strategic plan and develops implementation plans to ensure that said goals and objectives are achieved. The Director works closely with the hospital operations teams to facilitate RSFPP physicians' role in meeting its goals and objectives. Provides strategic, administrative, and financial leadership as well as oversight and management. Responsibilities including strategic planning; legal and regulatory compliance; financial management; relationship development; operations and human resources management for assigned practices.


Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Required: Master's degree required. MBA, MHA or related field preferred.

Experience: Required: Five (5) years of progressive health care management experience in a large, multi-practice setting or healthcare system. Preferred: Senior level physician practice management experience.

Knowledge/Skills: Management principles including managing physician and staff relationships in an employed network, health planning, financial planning and analysis, reimbursement, contract negotiations, construction planning, problem-solving, TQM, human resource development and planning. Knowledge of physician on-boarding, front desk procedures, billing/collections/insurance, medical records, staffing, quality monitoring, practice development, marketing and business development. Skill and ability in developing effective relationships with physicians, advisory boards, regulators, teammates, peer and general public.

Other: Additional skills required include: Skilled in identifying problems and recommending solutions; Ability to analyze data (clinical, financial, and marketing), identifies trends, and applies data to decision-making process; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing; Ability to actively participate and contribute at all levels of the organization when necessary; At a minimum, possesses a working understanding of the clinical care of physician services provided. Fluent in system-wide PC applications Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of other clinical systems where applicable which may include eCW and Cerner.
