Director, Program Management

You will manage a team of account managers or a significant account relationship in this role. You will be responsible for achieving the company's goals related to client retention, quality service delivery, client and BCD Travel profitability, preferred vendor maximization, and technology implementation.


A snapshot of this opportunity

  • Responsible for oversight and direction of the team, including performance/activity updates with stakeholders
  • Establish multi-level, strategic client relationships and meet client objectives through continuous follow-up
  • Evaluate and analyze the department budget to provide improvement recommendations to the department leadership
  • You will lead the Account Managers team to develop strategic client business plans to achieve the client and BCD Travel's objectives.
  • Review and make recommendations to improve the quality of client business plans
  • Explore opportunities to extend client servicing relationships through (regional or global) expansion
  • Ensure objectives are met with continual follow-up Lead or support the negotiation process for the development of the Service Level Agreement
  • Manage the performance of direct reports and downline employees

How you can set yourself apart

  • Relevant management work experience
  • Practical communication skills, oral, written, and presentation
  • Extensive experience with contract management and negotiations
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically
  • Business travel industry experience is preferred
  • Experience as an account manager in a corporate environment.
