Oversight responsibility for federal, state & local Income tax accounting in accordance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Lead state & local income and franchise tax compliance. Responsible for intercompany transfer pricing. Responsible for state & local income and franchise tax audits.

1. Oversight, review, and management communication of financial reporting for interim and year-end taxes including policies, procedures, and controls (including SOX).
2. Oversight and review of state & local income and franchise tax compliance including policies, procedures, business processes and controls.
3. Manage state, local income and franchise tax risk including audits and conflict resolution.
4. Transaction review, strategy, structuring, and optimization including contracts review.
5. Tax incentives/abatements negotiation and maintenance.
6. Optimizing process and procedures using OneSource and other technology.
7. Account for Intercompany interest and transfer pricing.
8. Tax budgeting and forecasting including the preparation of annual department budgets and interim legal entity pretax accounting income determinations.
9. Resource management and allocation.
10. Support Vice-President, Tax & Treasurer as needed including serving as a primary or backup on internal committees.

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting with income tax emphasis. MBA or Masters of Taxation a plus.
2. Certified Public Accountant accreditation.
3. 8-10 years of experience in taxes including FAS 109.
4. Excellent communication, diagnostic, analytical, data synthesis, negotiation, project management, collaboration, and written skills a must.
5. Strong PC skills especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Alteryx and OneSource experience a plus.
6. Working knowledge of retail inventory method.
7. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule.
