JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the day to day operations of #MIP (Me, In Progress) under the direction of the President/CEO. Ensures and provides client services that follow regulatory guidelines, contracts and professional standards as established by the organization. Supports and develops staff to provide high-quality assessments, interventions and related documentation as well as education and resources for participants and families.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Under the direction of the President/CEO, monitors and provides oversight for the #MIP teams including time card approval, management of PTO and performance appraisals and all contracted agencies/organizations.

· Manage a team of staff and day to day operations of the #MIP with guidance from the President/CEO.

· Ensures all required documentation (plan of care, progress notes, goals, summaries, quarterly progress reports etc.), are completed in a timely and accurate manner, aligning with organization policies, contract standards in established best practices.

· Monitors team clinical licensure, board and professional certification and other credentialing to ensure validity.

· Assists with CEU request and team discretionary budgets.

· Provides direct client care (up to 50-60% of the day pending team needs).

· Monitors the standard of services delivered to ensure best practices are implemented and followed.

· Assists in recruitment and orientation, development and support of all center staff.

· Fosters team work, model’s positive communication and support for Easterseals’ families and organization as a whole.

· Assists with program development, research, marketing and implementation as part of

The Strategic Planning Team to encourage ongoing innovative services.

· Preserves the integrity and confidentiality of protected health information of Easterseals’

clients.

· Understands, acknowledges and implements Easterseals’ privacy policies involving the disclosure of protected health information of Easterseals’ clients.

· Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.

· Completes other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Human Services Related field from an accredited college or university required.
• Knowledge of evidenced -based programs/interventions for teens with unique abilities/mental health struggles. Prior supervisory experience required. Experience with program development mandatory.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

· Possess a valid Florida driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance or access to transportation for travel.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Excellent oral and written communications skills.

· Computer literate

· Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.

· Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage numerous activities at one time.

· Ability to work collaboratively within the department as well as with other departments.

· Demonstrates a strong commitment to self-development.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

· Able to lift and carry items or children weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.

· Able to see and hear clearly, close up, and within a ten-foot area in order to provide a safe environment.

· Able to express or exchange ideas, indicate client progress, and home care needs by spoken format and in written communication.

· Operate a computer, copier and fax machines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Willingness to work non-traditional and additional hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
