Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama, two years of related experience in a special event and/or college athletics ticket office and possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage with the University of South Alabama.

Essential Functions
Manages the day-to-day operations of the South Alabama Ticket Office in conjunction with the Assistant Athletic Director (AD) of External Affairs; responsible for the direction and execution of all ticketing operations efforts for athletics events and events/concerts hosted within the US Mitchell Center; responsible, in conjunction with the Assistant AD of External Affairs, managerial oversight of five ticketed sports and all external ticketed concerts, shows and events performed at the USA Mitchell Center and Hancock Whitney Stadium; works with the Assistant AD of External Affairs to manage all aspects of the computerized ticketing system which includes setup and maintenance of ticketed events, sales operators/controls, promotional offerings, access management, printing (thermal, print at home, mobile delivery, or alternate methods) and scanning equipment; assists to facilitate event promoters with complete ticketing services including set up requirements, seating layouts, house scaling and price matrix; directs and presents to event promoters in a professional manner; develops and manages ticket office policies and procedures in compliance with NCAA, Sun Belt Conference, University of South Alabama Athletics department and the USA Mitchell Center; completes daily sales documentation on behalf of the University of South Alabama Athletics department and the USA Mitchell Center and works closely with the Office of Student Accounting to provide documentation in a timely manner; responsible for retention/customer service of season ticket accounts for all five South Alabama tickets sports: football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and softball; hires, terminates, trains, supervises and coordinates scheduling of all student and game day ticket office employees to include weekly office hours and proper scheduling of all ticketed events; must be able to work in an environment with occasional high decibels of sound; must have the ability to lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds; prepares final settlement reports at the conclusion of special events; assists with the collection of special event novelty sales when warranted; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required; related duties as required.
