The Embedded Disability Specialist will be a business leader who lives in the Seattle Metropolitan Area and ideally has established relationships in both the Disability Community and Organizations that support those with Barriers to Employment. The selected candidate will be available to work up to 40 hours per week.

The Embedded Specialist will report directly to the Chief Sourcing Officer at JEC while having daily interaction with client customers.

The role of the Embedded Specialist will be a combination of business development, candidate sourcing and partnership building to provide both on the ground sourcing and eventual support of candidates with disabilities and other barriers to employment at a local Food Service locations in the Seattle and Renton area. This will include attainment of mutually agreed disability and alternative sources employment hiring and retention goals.

Key responsibilities also include supporting the pre-employment process, onboarding once hired and providing disability awareness training to both facility leadership and hourly team members. ​The Embedded Specialist will adhere to all COVID & other safety procedures while at client sites.
