Specific Functions/Activities Summary
Please note that this role is located in Tarrytown, NY.
The Dishwasher is responsible for:
- Maintaining high sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils
- ensures that the dishwashing area along with the entire kitchen/s are maintained and cleaned to the highest standards
- Sorts and rinses dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine
- Sorts and stacks of clean dishes
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have experience with:
- Sweeping and mopping floors,
- Be able to fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
- Cleans the kitchen refrigerators, ceiling air vents, and others
- Wipes up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry and clean
- Lifts and carry racks of dishes, glassware, and other utensils
- Provides general assistance to cooks and chefs.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
