Applewood Plumbing Heating and Electric is seeking talented and ambitious candidates who understand the importance of providing top-notch customer service to join our team as a Dispatcher. The primary responsibilities of this role are to optimize our schedule by ensuring the right service professional is matched with the proper opportunity, pre- and post-appointment customer contact, and delivering job specifications to technicians.

In this position, you will be:

• Contacting customers to ensure they are available for the technician to come to their home
• Communicating with, supporting, and dispatching our technicians to all their jobs
• Using your creative thinking & team work skills to ensure all your customers are taken care of each day
• Plan and facilitate the schedule effectively and efficiently while providing first class service to our customers
• Working in an upbeat, fast paced environment, where your multi-tasking and logistical skills will be put to test
• Following up with our customers to determine satisfaction levels

The right candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Professional and empathetic phone demeanor
• Outstanding communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Solution oriented with the ability to remain patient and empathetic
• Able to analyze a situation quickly and prioritize based on company guidelines
• Strong, applicable knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel
• Available to work evenings and weekends
