Dispatcher/Logistical Coordinator
Full-Time
FitzGerald Brothers Transportation has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Dispatcher to join the team. We are a family-owned transportation company that has been in business for over 22 years, looking for an experienced dispatcher who has 5+ years of experience in the transportation industry. Applicants must have great attention to detail, strong ability to communicate well and the ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and efficiently. Computer skills are a must along with strong communication skills and acute attention to detail. We are looking for an independent, dynamic team player.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work well under pressure and solve issues in real time
- Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail
- Available to be on-call
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Answering emergency and non-emergency calls
- Prioritizing and organizing calls according to urgency
- Assign reservations to drivers and disseminate reservation information
- Maintain contact with drivers to support and ensure the delivery of superior service
- Monitor schedules and vehicle activities.
- Work with coworkers, managers and drivers to resolve issues as they arise.
