$78,354 at six months and $84,319 with one year of satisfactory performance

Job duties: Highly responsible supervisory and administrative work in directing the administrative activities of a Kansas judicial district. Under the supervision and direction of the chief judge, the district court administrator supervises and coordinates all administrative functions and operations of the district court, including oversight of the clerk of the district court office, the court services department, and the district court budget. The position supervises and directs the activities of nonjudicial personnel, and performs such other duties as assigned by the chief judge, prescribed by law, required by the state judicial administrator or by the Supreme Court. All work is performed under the general direction of the chief judge of the judicial district and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and evaluations on the basis of results obtained.

Required education and experience: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in court administration, public administration, business administration, or a related field supplemented by a law degree or masters degree in judicial, public, or business administration; and one year of court administrative experience. Two years additional court administrative experience may be substituted for the law or masters degree requirement.
