RVCC is seeking a Doctorate Level Mental Health Clinician!
River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. is looking to hire Doctorate Level Clinician for a part-time position for Easthampton.
The candidate is expected to:
- Participate in regular individual and group supervision around psychological assessment
- Conduct clinical interview to gather background information necessary to inform assessment process
- Work with a team to determine appropriate assessments for case
- Schedule clients and assess using appropriate battery
- Score psychological assessments using scoring manuals, computerized programs or other material
- Write report within 30 days of assessment and respond to feedback from editor/supervisor in a timely manner.
- Provide clients with a copy of the report and schedule feedback session with clients and families
- Communicate with other professionals and administrative staff as needed to improve workflow
- Ensure ongoing education with regard to assessment and the assessment process
- Other tasks, including but not limited to, those assigned by Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Doctorate in Psychology Required
License/Registrations: Current MA LMHC, LCSW or LICSW preferred but not required. CANS certification and registration required.
Experience:
- Two years or more of experience as a therapist with strong background in child or adolescent work
- Minimum one-year experience in psychological assessment
- Ability to do crisis intervention as needed
- ADOS and or ADIR experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
