Emery | Reddy, PLLC is a boutique law firm seeking an entry-level Document Clerk in our Downtown Seattle office. We are a thriving firm that specializes in plaintiff litigation in the fields of workers’ compensation, employment law, and injury claims. We are passionate about serving our clients and we enjoy doing it! This position is responsible for organizing and maintaining pertinent confidential client records. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, dependability, great attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow with the firm.
Job Type: Full-time, In Person
Salary: $21 – 23 per hour, DOE
Job Location: Seattle, WA
Duties Include:
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Open, scan, and distribute mail
- File documents electronically
- Maintain organization of electronic files
- Request medical and public records
- Other tasks as assigned by attorneys, case managers, and paralegals
Qualifications Include:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
