Hybrid, Main Office in San Carlos, California
SUMMARY
This role is to work on process documents and finalize the Compliance and Project Modules in the back end of Arena. Process documents include and are not limited to: Model Matixes, part number conventions, naming conventions for clearer communication to all cross-functional teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write and document Policies and Procedures. Gain agreement within cross functional teams and release Policies/Procedures e.g naming conventions, Model matrixes
- Follow up on needed approvals for MCO, DCO and ECO’s to close.
- Work closely and supports Manufacturing Engineers when needed.
- Manage Quality Module within our PLM tool (Arena)
- Set up back in for ARENA Project Management Module
- Setup and train internal and external customers on the use of the PLM tool
- Facilitate updates to the tool with Arena.
- Contact Arena as needed to resolve issues with the tool.
- Monitor Arena license needs.
- Review existing documentation and part structuring for correctness and completeness.
Able to work with the following programs on an intermediate level: Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel and Outlook, Explorer and Windows.
- Update Compliance docs in ARENA.
- Works with ARENA Document Control Specialist and ARENA Consultant on best practices.
- Works with cross-functional groups: Product Marketing, Sales for creation of various configurations in ARENA.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of Document Control Administrator experience with PLM System (Arena preferred) preferably in external manufacturing.
- Experience managing electromechanical devices and working with global and cross-functional internal and external teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience across all phases of product development from prototype to mass production.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment.
- Associates Technical Degree or equivalent.
