Midwest Transport, Inc. is one of the largest transportation contractors associated with the United States Postal Service. A truckload carrier with a national presence. MTI possesses an employee-oriented culture and is seeking a proactive individual to join our team.

The Recruiting position will assist in different faucets within the Recruiting & Retention Department here at MTI. Main functions of this position will be at the forefront of the Recruiting Cycle. The ideal candidate would possess a willingness to help attitude, a strong personality, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior knowledge of the DOT Transportation Industry and/or relatable HR/Recruiting experience is preferred, but not required.

Note: Recruiters must have the capability to synthesize information quickly and efficiently. This position will also require adaptability. We are looking for an addition to our already established team.

Position Specifics: Full Time

• Monday – Friday 7 AM to 4 PM (flexibility available)

• Salary = $17.00 per hour (based on experience and education)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

· Develop and Update Job Descriptions and Specifications

· Assist in all Aspects of Advertising

· Auditing of Internal Data

· Taking Meeting Minutes

· Research Market Data

· Build Processes to Provide Internal Control within the Recruiting Cycle

· Act as a Support System to other positions and team members

· Source and Search Candidates using the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Skills:
