Americare has been providing quality home and community based services for 18 years. Our mission is to improve the quality of life and level of independence for every client and family receiving our services. To accomplish this mission, we depend on our team of compassionate caregivers who are equally dedicated to providing the best in-home care to our elderly/disabled clients.

We are looking to add a dependable team member for a rotating 8AM-5PM shift in the BASTROP, LA area. You must be compassionate, self-motivated, and a good communicator. A valid driver's license and clean driving record is necessary, as this client needs to be transported for appointments at times. You must also be okay with a small dog. Duties include light assistance with some personal care tasks, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, grocery shopping, and transportation to/from doctor's appointments. We are looking to hire immediately. DSW training is held once per week in Monroe. CPR training/recertification is provided by the company.
