As a caregiver at Americare, you’ll build relationships and improve the quality of life of the elderly/disabled population who are in need of love and care. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple daily functions: personal care (including bathing, grooming, dressing, lifting/transferring, toileting), meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and social interaction. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved and loved. We currently have a client in Spearsville whom we provide care on a rotating shift with nighttime hours of 6pm-6am. DSW training and CPR certification are provided by the company. You must have a clean background, valid driver's license, good driving history, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance/registration. A minimum of one year experience is preferred.
