POSITION: Little Titans preschool para, part-time (approx 15-20 hours/wk)

LOCATION: TCU Lonsdale Elementary

STARTING DATE: 2022-2023 School Year; January 17, 2023

SALARY: Based upon experience and qualifications

REPORTS TO: Early Learning Coordinator

DATE OF POSTING: January 4, 2023

LICENSURE: None is required, though experience is considered

POSITION DETAILS: Come join our amazing team in our highly rated Little Titans preschool program and Early Childhood Family Education! This position requires availability of mornings Monday-Friday. Duties will include assisting the lead teacher in large and small group instruction, assisting children with self-help skills, encouraging independence and confidence, and preparing for daily activities. Familiarity with and use of Second Step practices and language will be expected. Approx. 15-20 hours per week.

Additional hours and positions are available if more hours are desired.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS:

- Early Childhood work experience is preferred, but not required.

- Actively participate in professional development activities.

- Establish trusting relationships with staff and students.

- Understand and implement Second Step strategies, practices, and language.
