Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as an Early Head Start Home Visitor!
The Early Head Start Home Visitor provide the following responsibilities:
- Meet with parents weekly, implement the selected curriculum in order to ensure that families have adequate supports to ensure the health and development of their child and family from age birth - three.
- Coordinate socialization opportunities for families and all comprehensive supports needed.
- Continue to support families who are identified as high risk through their transition to Head Start, aiding in establishing a meaningful rapport with the Head Start teacher and Family Service Worker providing a 90 minute home visit weekly. During that visit also provides supports to families related to family needs.
Additional Details:
Location: Gordon Early Literacy Center, 351 Kersey St, Coatesville, PA 19320- Schedule: 260 day position, 8 hours/day
- 10 paid sick days and 2 personal days
- Pay-rate: $17.04 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent. College training in area preferred. CDA or equivalent and Strengths Based Family Services credential must be obtained.
- Previous experience in childcare setting with the demonstrated ability to relate well to children.
CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS:
(Clearances and TB current within 12 months)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI Use code 1KG6XN
- TB Screening
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
- Due to a federal mandate, proof of full Covid-19 vaccination is required for staff working in the Head Start program
- Due to a federal mandate, masks are required for staff working in the Head Start program, regardless of vaccination status
