Summary
- This position works under the supervision of the Director. Performs non-invasive electrocardiogram procedures. Performs editing, reconciliation and charging of procedures. This position is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
- Performs 12-lead ECG.
- Transmission of ECG to Cardiology electronic management system.
- Documents all pertinent information and charges through electronic medical record.
- Files, copies and delivers ECGs as necessary.
- Performs Holter hook-up and event monitor hook-up.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; medical terminology preferred.
- BLS required.
- Prefer medical terminology understanding.
