The Infatuation is looking for an Editor In Chief, who will be responsible for leading and developing the beating heart of The Infatuation: its 45+ person editorial department. This person will oversee our editorial strategy with a focus on expansion and growth, and work with the editorial staff to execute on goals while maintaining the highest editorial standards. As a member of The Infatuation's leadership team, the Editor In Chief will collaborate with leaders across the company from Growth, Data, Marketing, Product, and Operations, as well as existing editorial leadership. This role will work in close partnership with both The Infatuation's CEO and founding Editor In Chief, Hillary Reinsberg, who now oversees all editorial content for Connected Commerce at Chase (comprising Dining, Travel, Shopping, and other lifestyle categories).

As Editor In Chief, you will be expected to present regularly on vision and progress to both the editorial department and to the larger Infatuation team, so confidence reporting on progress and speaking to large groups are crucial for this role. You should be a seasoned editorial leader who can balance a goal-oriented, growth mindset with a passion for the highest quality editorial standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 45+ full time employees that includes writers, editors, editorial directors, and editorial production staff, across the U.S. and U.K.
• Set vision, standards, and goals for editorial, laddering up to The Infatuation's annual objectives and keys results (OKRs)
• Collaborate with Editorial Directors to establish content directives and enforce editorial standards
• Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse team of best-in-class talent, while managing the Editorial team hiring roadmap and budget
• Foster an innovative, inclusive, and collaborative editorial environment
• Participate in Infatuation leadership meetings as Editorial department head
• Represent Editorial department to larger Infatuation team, and occasionally to J.P. Morgan Chase stakeholders

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• 10+ years experience leading a large and multi-layered editorial team
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop diverse editorial talent
• Experience setting goals around audience growth, and associated reporting
• Experience collaborating with other departments such as Growth, Data, Product, and Finance
• Exceptional presentation skills and confidence speaking to large groups
• Both a passion for - and deep knowledge - of restaurants and travel
