Electrical Assembly/Solderer

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 7:00AM-3:30PM, Mon-Fri (Weekend overtime if needed.)

Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00 per hour (Based on credentials/certifications/schooling/experience.)

Staffworks Group is currently seeking an experienced Solderer familiar with soldering SMT and Thru-Hole components in a state-of-the-art facility a custom electrical contract manufacturer headquartered in Bedford Hts. Our customer is a leader in making standard electrical assembly products that can be customized for specific customer needs.

This position will work on a production line processing different customized products and will inspect their own work using magnifying and testing equipment. This is an immediate need! Responsibilities

• Hand Soldering using both lead and lead-free solder
• Electrical assembly, crimping (with machine/ hand crimp), heat shrink application, wire process stripping, wire marking
• Read and comprehend manufacturing product specification sheets and follow established procedures
• Collect and prepare all material for assembly process
• Set-up equipment and tools needed for assembly process
• Take precise measurements to ensure accuracy of components
• Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
• Complete testing of all product output to ensure highest quality

Skills and Qualifications

• Hand Soldering Experience: 1 year minimum
• Proven experience in electrical assembly manufacturing soldering environment
• Ability to hand solder fine-pitch components
• Experience with SMT and though hole
• Read and understand component Pin-One/Polarity orientations, components value markings and codes
• Previous experience with electrical soldering, crimping (with machine/ hand crimp), heat shrink application, wire process stripping, wire marking, and cable housings preferred
• Technical knowledge and the ability to read and understand complex procedures and directions
• High school diploma, GED, Certification/Associates preferred in Hand Soldering or equivalent
• Ability to complete and pass a background check and drug screening
