Position Summary
Electrical Engineering Manager with a passion for product design and development and a proven track record of design, development, and launch of innovative and robust components and systems. Candidate is skilled at creating and translating product requirements into solutions, including electrical & electronic component and system best practices and a history of delivering functionality, reliability, and technical innovation.
Position Responsibilities
- Design, development, and launch of Electrical Components & Systems for the complete, fully electric vehicle, including electric motors & controllers, electrical components and wiring
- Continuous improvement including feature performance and customer satisfaction actions
- Innovation and technology roadmap development
- Working integrally with the broader engineering team
- Hands on collaboration with Manufacturing and Procurement Team Members
- Hands on collaboration with key suppliers
Position Qualifications
- BS EE, MS EE Preferred
- Minimum 10 years in Electrical Component & Systems design & development
- Minimum 3 years in an Electrical Component & Systems management role
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong project management skills, with excellent follow-up skills
- Problem solver – adept at troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Detailed-orientated
- Strategic thinker
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working in Manufacturing and/or Distribution industries preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience in the vehicle industry a plus
