Dunham Products is currently seeking a maintenance repair technician with a strong electrical background and experience with hydraulics and pneumatics for our Walton Hills facility.

Job Function: Work with the Plant Manager and Department Setup Operators/Supervisors to troubleshoot machinery and perform general machine maintenance to keep production running smoothly. Additionally, the Maintenance Repair Technician will provide support for all other maintenance/repair needs throughout the shop and office.

Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatics including installation and integration into existing lines (required).
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery and determine best option for repairs.
• Proficient at using measurement tools and working in close tolerances, as well as basic safety and power tools.
• Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively.
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., as required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building facilities/equipment.
• Work with the Tool Room Machinist to machine replacement parts necessary for repairs.
• Aid in automating machinery to improve production efficiency.
• Initiate cost reduction improvements and production procedures to ensure that production objectives continue to be met in a safe and efficient manner.
• Rebuild machines, as needed.
• Observe all safety and health regulations.
• Follow housekeeping procedures in maintaining a neat and orderly work area.
• Perform other company related duties as required.
• Complete all necessary record-keeping for repairs and preventative maintenance.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
