Seeking a Electrical Maintenance Technicians for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Monroe, NC.
This position is nightshift only (6pm - 6am) and offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!
Compensation is between $65,00o - $75,000 per year (including base pay, OT pay and annual bonuses)
In this role you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, diesel mechanics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps, cranes, mobile equipment, etc.
A successful Electrical Maintenance Technician is a problem-solver and is strong with troubleshooting and determining corrective action, installing, repairing and maintaining a wide variety of electrical and electronic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety practices and rules to ensure equipment is operating in a safe manner
- Implement process improvements and methods that will increase effectiveness and efficiencies
- Use of standard and specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to properly assess and troubleshoot issues
- Interpret electrical schematics, understanding technical manuals, and following written instructions
- Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up and installation
- Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work
- Operate for trucks, man lifts, cranes, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least three years of experience performing electrical system and machine maintenance in a manufacturing and industrial environment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Strong communication skill with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
