Electrical Safety Engineer

Position Summary

The Electrical Safety Engineer is responsible for providing electrical safety engineering support and expertise needed to ensure electrical safety compliance with OSHA regulations, Industry Standards, and Orange EV safety requirements.

Position Responsibilities

· Establish high voltage safety operating procedures, including defining and managing required PPE, safe operating tools, safe engineering and development areas, safe manufacturing, and assembly areas

· Update and create Orange EV product safety policies and procedures

· Communicate and educate OEV personnel on electrical safety standards and procedures

Position Qualifications

· Strong process management experience and electrical technical expertise.

· Knowledge and experience in complying with all relevant regulatory safety standards and procedures.

· Experience in high voltage systems up to 1000V

· Experience performing electrical safety audits, including coordinating, documenting findings, and assisting with issue closure

· Excellent communication skills and proven ability to interact at all levels within an organization

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution

· Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Electrical safety Engineer

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
