Shift Hours: Rotating 4 - 10's (1st week Mon-Thurs, 2nd week Tues-Thurs)

Overall Responsibility: Electrical Testing (control and medium voltage)

Key Job Duties:

• Adherence to safety protocol regarding PPE and test equipment operation.
• Testing and inspection of medium voltage switchgear.
• Electrical circuit testing using the following (TTR t, Vt, CPT and Hi pot) test.
• Troubleshoot switchgear issues.
• Read and decipher prints and schematics & wiring diagrams.
• Implement a variety of field concept, practices, and procedures.
• Report process and product issues.
• Documentation of testing results. (high lighting and filling out test reports).
• Archiving test reports into database.
• Documenting & possibly complete job punch list items documented as a result of Testing Tech. findings.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Understanding of different voltage classifications and levels (control vs. medium etc.).
• Experience using MS Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent time management skills and understanding of urgency of meeting deadlines.

Desired Qualities and Attributes:

• Basic ability to operate electrical designing software (CAD, SolidWorks Electrical etc.).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing guidelines and standards.
• 2+ years’ experience in industry.
• Associates / Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering technology or related field of study.
• Willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
