• Knowledge of 480/240 3-phase systems with an understanding of power distribution in an industrial plant.
• Knowledge of electric control systems, motors starters, heater circuits, relays, fuses, transformers, and contactors.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems such as pumps, directional valves, relief valves, and pressure flow concepts.
• Knowledge of electric and hydraulic schematics and machine control prints.
• Knowledge pneumatics, compressors, and cooling towers preferred.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have good customer service skills and be able to effectively interact with all departments.
• Must be able to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables where only limited standardization exists.
• Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Must be self-motivated and proactive.
• Must be proficient with all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Etc.)

• This position is responsible for conducting machine set up, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance service.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Perform mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform service and maintain auxiliary equipment such as chillers, heaters, dryers, grinders, and conveyors.
