Job description
Basic Function:The Electronics Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning
sophisticated analog/mixed signal circuits for Lyncean products. Success in this position requires close
interactions with other groups to build and deploy complex systems consisting of electrical and
mechanical components controlled and regulated by software. Solid electronics knowledge and skills as
well as the ability to learn and work with others are required for this position.
Responsibilities
1. Design, prototype, build, test, troubleshoot and commission electronic systems and components
2. Develop analog, digital, RF as well as AC/DC power distribution circuits
3. Program and test PLCs for integrated protection systems
4. Create schematics, system interconnects and cable diagrams
5. Generate documentation including BOMs, test procedures and product specifications
6. Support Lyncean customers and collaboration efforts as a member of the EE team
Skills:
1. Self-starter with positive attitude
2. Knowledge and/or experience in design, debug and test of electronics in frequency range from DC to 10GHz with signal power from -140dBm to +60dBm
3. Experience in electronics design using ORCAD
4. Knowledge of electronics simulation with PSPICE
5. Experience of FPGA programming
6. Experience of PCB layout and chassis design with CAD tools
7. Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
8. Clear and precise communication
9. Team player with desire to learn more, teach others and strive for excellence
