An amazing opportunity for career growth has just become available for the experienced nurse leader in Eastern Texas! A beloved facility within a larger healthcare organization in the State of Texas is actively seeking an Emergency Services Critical Care Executive RN Director.

This 275+ bed short term acute care facility has been proudly providing care to patients in the surrounding community for over 100 years, and offers a broad range of medical services, to include: advanced cardiovascular services, 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, adult and neonatal intensive care, radiology and diagnostic imaging, outpatient rehab, and much more. This hospital has recently achieved ANCC Magnet recognition status, is accredited by The Joint Commission, and is also a designated Trauma Center.

The Emergency Services Critical Care Executive RN Director will play an integral role as a member of the hospital leadership team. This facility is seeking a candidate who is experienced in both critical care ICU, as well as emergency department services, that will be prepared to manage and maintain oversight of both areas. In regards to Emergency Department management, experience with initiatives and collaboration with multidisciplinary departments, along with length of stay and overall patient experience are all key components to this leadership role. For the Critical Care units totaling 25+ beds, the Administrative Nurse Director will be responsible for developing and implementing tactics for RN retention and recruitment, as well as improving employee satisfaction.

The Administrative Nurse Director Critical Care Emergency Services will be responsible for management of approximately 60 FTEs across both departments, in addition to 2 direct reports and 2 nurse supervisors. This hospital is seeking a nurse leader who has 5+ years of experience in both ED and ICU services, as well as 5+ years of nursing management experience.
