What we’re seeking:

We are looking for veterinarians with a love of emergency medicine to join our startup team. The perfect candidate will have a strong proficiency in emergency procedures and medicine, capable of stabilization of the critically ill and preferable comfort with emergency surgical procedures. We are seeking collaborative individuals eager to continually grow and perfect their craft.

Beacon is set to open in February of 2023 and will be the only 24/7 emergency facility in St. Petersburg. We are eager to serve our community and anticipate a high case load from inception. We are interested in emergency veterinarians capable of staying calm under pressure, able to handle a high volume of emergency patients and serve as a leader to the veterinary team while on shift. Ideally candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of emergency experience and feel confident as an emergency practitioner.

Full time doctors work 11-13 shifts per month with flexible scheduling to ensure an optimal work-life balance. Our hospital is 24/7/365 and veterinarians require flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Essential Job Requirements:

● Must have a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and ability to practice within the
United States

• Experience working in veterinary ER medicine

● Have a Florida Veterinary License that is in good standing

Pay: $200,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
