Full-time (6:30a-3p) - Evening, Holiday and Weekend On Call
JOB DUTIES -
Set up equipment and assist physician and RN with procedures. Maintain equipment. Functions as a productive member of the patient care team and demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to facilitate unit/team functioning. Practice is based on the theoretical framework of nursing at Baptist Health Paducah including the principles of Relationship-Based Care. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY -
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years Endo Lab experience preferred.
Must complete the "Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) program within 6 months of hire.
Able to work well with others. Performance evaluations are conducted at the end of the three-month probationary period by the Nurse Manager, with input from Department Director and or the Charge Nurse. Thereafter are on a yearly basis. Supervised by Department Director, Manager and Charge Nurse.
