Come join our team as our next Engineer!

The essential role of the engineer is to help keep up the hotel's building and grounds. Take responsibility and work independently, perform preventive maintenance training, work on capital planning and projects, and dealing with vendors.

This role requires responding to requests from guests, preventative maintenance in rooms and around the building, upkeep and servicing of public areas and meeting room space, maintaining the tool inventory, servicing the pool, and performing outdoor duties in times of snow.

Maintains the physical condition of the hotel according to established operating and safety standards, insuring that service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

General knowledge of building and equipment maintenance

Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing maintenance.

• Experience with general maintenance tools.
• Troubleshooting ability with skills in electronic door lock systems drywall, painting, carpentry and wall vinyl repairs
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Team player
• Tasks motivated – strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and cleaning chemicals.

Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
