Position Summary:

• Support all phases of engineering projects from concept creation through production implementation and support.
• Develop and test the transfer of Device History Records (DHR’s) into electronic platform SAP utilizing Excel.
• Collaborate heavily across departments to ensure proper implementation and testing of eDHR’s.
• Trend data to demonstrate process improvement project efficiency.
• Support installation, qualification, and validation of new processes; write and execute protocols/reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in analysis for volume demand increases, cost reduction, quality, and efficiency improvement.
• Provide troubleshooting and failure analysis to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain the accuracy of current manufacturing procedures.
• Establish a safe, secure, controlled, and efficient operating environment.
• Prepare reports as needed.
• Develop knowledge of scientific and engineering principles.
• Ensure and maintain compliance with the company's quality system requirements through training and adherence to policies, procedures and processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or equivalent years of experience.
• One (1) to three (3) year previous manufacturing engineering experience; previous experience within a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environment preferred.
• Basic familiarity with manufacturing, automation, and sustaining engineering concepts.
• Technically proficient in creating and understanding engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, tolerancing, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Experience with automation development (batch and continuous methods).
• Good technical writing skills.
• Proficiency in Solidworks or CAD a plus.
• Familiarity with Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 9000 Standards, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills are required
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision; must also be able to work as part of a team.
